Hi I'm Ysabel
I'm an equine and canine photographer from Nottinghamshire, and my work is all about capturing the bond you share with your animals in a way that feels natural, relaxed, and genuinely you.
I’ve been around horses for as long as I can remember. I started riding lessons at four years old, and that’s where my love of horses first began. Over the years I progressed through lessons, began loaning in my late teens, and the very first thing I did after finishing university was buy my own horse, Pepper. She has been with me ever since, and spending time with her is still one of my favourite parts of the day. I also share my life with Eddie, my whippet, so you’ll usually find me either down at the stables or out walking through the countryside with him.
That love of the outdoors now shapes my photography style. I rediscovered my passion for photography in my mid-twenties, and it felt completely natural to combine it with my lifelong love of animals. That’s how this business was born: from a desire to capture the connection we share with the animals who shape our lives.
Before becoming a full-time photographer, I worked as a primary school teacher for seven years. That experience taught me how to help people of all ages feel relaxed and confident- skills that have become invaluable during sessions with both children and animals. Today, my work brings together all the things I love most: animals, the countryside, creating art, and helping people feel comfortable and celebrated. Every photoshoot is crafted to honour the bond you share and turn it into timeless, heirloom artwork you’ll cherish for years to come.
